Transitional Fiberglass Liner. Major component is glass. High modulus and improved resilience. Fabric has good permeability for resin addition. High installation pressures possible. Predictable installation length. Consistent thickness. Can be used in high temperature curing (such as steam, hot water, hot air) up to 185°F or in UV curing.
Invertible seamless glass textile liners for pipe rehabilitation systems. With a glass tubular-knitted structure available with a range of advanced polymer outer coatings, Alphashield is for use in “no-dig” small-diameter household and industrial systems for repairing damaged drain pipes and sewers without the need for disruptive excavations.
This extremely flexible product range offers a perfect solution for the repair of defective pipes with multiple bends of up to 90°. Alphashield consists of virtually fold-free products that are available in a range of diameters and thicknesses and provide a stable wall thickness even with a change of dimensions. We recommend that Alphashield is used in conjunction with two-component epoxy or UV resins.
